Dental Radiology
What is RVG?
It is the name given to a digital imaging device used to examine the root and bone structure of one or more teeth.
Panoramic X-Ray
These are x-rays that help make treatment planning faster and more completely. Panoramic x-ray is needed to diagnose formations such as cysts, caries and tumors that cannot be seen with the naked eye in the jaw and teeth.
Cephalometric X-Ray
Cranial bones and soft tissues can be imaged in the same film in front, back and side positions.
The basic principle of tomography is to show the internal structure and surroundings of an object in multiple projections. With 3D Tomography, patients are exposed to less radiation and treatment planning can be done more accurately.
